Refunds & Re-Treatment

POLICY OF REFUND

  1. Refund claims will only be considered if the patient’s medical history has changed, making them ineligible for the treatment, or if the treatment is not in the patient’s best interests, as determined by DentC Doctors.
  2. The refund terms are spelled out in the ‘Consent form,’ which must be completed by the patient prior to treatment, and are also spelled out in the ‘Receipt.’ As a result, these documents will control all refunds.
  3. If payment is made incorrectly or a card is swiped into the DentC account, a refund will be issued.
  4. DentC strives to ensure the best clinical practices in its clinics by employing highly skilled and trained doctors. However, if the prognosis/outcome of any treatment does not meet the patient’s expectations due to various factors, the patient may request a refund.

DentC undertakes to

    • Follow treatment guidelines when using orthodontic appliances. Removable retainers, for example, are used on a regular basis as recommended.
    • In addition, if the cost of repeat treatment is expected to be higher than what was previously paid, the patient will be responsible for the difference.

    • Aligners: If impressions or a scan were taken and aligners were ordered.
    • If the patient has not yet collected the aligner, crown, or denture, and the fit has changed owing to shifting teeth, additional measurements are required.
